Machines Management
ggRock machine management allows each venue to have full range of control over the PCs at their location. This includes controlling the power state (on/off/reboot) of connected PCs, monitoring the network information, assigning specific images and snapshots as well as applying changes made on one machine to others via snapshots.
Seamless Boot and Virtual Machines
Seamless Boot allows you to bring in a new hardware configuration of a Machine in store, run Seamless Boot and see it having it’s NIC (Network Card) picked up, recognized, drivers installed and working - all automatically and with no need of manual drive import/export process and lengthy sessions with external disks.
Virtual Machines allow you to run a lot of the day-to-day maintenance and operations tasks remotely, without ever launching a physical Machine: from application updates to small file changes.
Images and Snapshot Management
ggRock Images and Snapshots allow you the ability to manually create system (OS) and application (Game) images allowing for independent images on the each PC, ability to “keep writeback” on any PC(s) in order to save information after reboot, before deciding later if the new information should be saved to the image for all to use as well as having a comprehensive system of past snapshot management allowing to safely roll back changes, experiment with new applications and hardware whilst keeping the core of the venue operational with robust retention settings.
Array Management
ggRock Array management allows administrators to easily manage attached drives and abstract unnecessary low-level details, including management of drives making up the Array, run routine TRIM operations in an automated fashion and report on performance via a Grafana-powered dashboard for the Array but also the CPU, RAM and Network.
ggRock Boot Scheduler
Set specific images and even snapshots to boot on specific PCs during specific times of the day, automate non-ggRock PCs and better manage your venue’s programming.
Active Directory Support
Providing a better differentiation between ggRock PCs, better integration with AD Domains and automations for our customers with centralised authentication solutions.
Embedded Server Stats
Monitor and respond to the changes in stats of the ggRock underlying hardware, spot issues early and ease troubleshooting without additional credentials required.
Improved Hardware Compatibility
Reduce the use of legacy ggRock Image Creation Tool in favour of Seamless Boot allowing better support and precision when selecting drivers for multiple different (even if slightly!) PCs.
