Event Description:
Welcome to the Madden 10 Superbowl. Players from all around the U.S. will gather at their local game centers Friday night, January 29th, to find out who is the national champion.
Players check in at 8 PM EST (5 PM PST) and play will start promptly at 9 PM EST. Players will compete locally to advance to the national brackets later that night. Just like the NFL playoffs these are single elimination brackets which means lose one time and you are out!
Prizes:
1st - 4000 MS Points
2nd - 3200 MS Points
3rd - 1600 MS Points

Event Settings:
- Time will be 3 minute quarters
- Difficulty will be set at All-Madden
- The tournament will be Single Elimination. Once you lose you are out of the tournament.
- Seeding will be random.
- Teams are picked privately. Each player picks their team in private and discloses their choice to the admin. Once both teams are given to the admin the team selections are revealed. Players may not switch teams for the match after their selection is turned into the admin.
- Same teams are allowed. For example, if both players pick the Colts then both teams will be the Colts.
- 21 point rule. Player that is down by 21 has one shot to stay alive, if stopped, GAME IS OVER!!
- Allow 5 minutes for your opponent to change audibles,subs, etc.
- No onside kicks unless down in the 4th qtr.
- Games will be played with Madden10 on Xbox 360 with the latest available update of player rosters and stats online.
- Championship Matches will all be played via Xbox LIVE.
- Higher seeded player starts the game and invites the lower seeded player.
- Other than no onside kicks except when you are down in the 4th quarter there are no in game rules. However, glitches and other exploits need to be brought to the attention of the officials and they will deal with according to the General Rules.
